Gimmy LLC ("gimmy", "we") operates usegimmy.com — a contracting and payments platform for creative professionals. This policy describes what we collect and how we use it.

what we collect

Waitlist: name, phone number, Instagram handle. Creators: name, handle, email, phone number, and the details of gigs you create. Clients: email address, business details you provide when accepting a contract (legal name, entity type, state), and your acceptance records (timestamp, IP address). Payments (when live): bank and identity information is collected and stored by our payment processor — we never see or store your bank credentials.

how we use it

To generate and store your contracts and invoices, verify the identity of both parties to a deal, move payments, send transactional messages (sign-in codes, contract links, delivery confirmations, invite texts), and keep the legally required records of agreements made on the platform. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

text messages

If you join the waitlist or opt in at signup, we send text messages about your account: your access invite, sign-in codes, and (if you opt in) gig status updates. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Phone numbers and opt-in status are never shared with third parties for their own marketing.

service providers

We use a small set of processors to run the product: Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel and Railway (hosting), Resend (email), Twilio (text messages), Anthropic (contract drafting assistance), and a payment processor for money movement. Each receives only what it needs to provide its service.

retention & your choices

Contracts, invoices, and acceptance records are retained as long as legally required. You can request access to or deletion of your other personal information by emailing hello@usegimmy.com. Waitlist entries are deleted on request.
